One of the best tunes i've heard for quite a while. Perfect soundtrack for these troubled days, i'm sure some of you would definitely agree..

People with Guts and Soul #3 Xavi Olle
Xavi Ollé es un fenómeno. Es un ingeniero de sonido excepcional pero sobre todo un tio genuino que si no hubiese nacido en el Baix Llobregat seguro que lo hubiera hecho en Nashville (si no que se lo pregunten a los miembros de su banda, 'The Booty hunters').
Cuando le pregunté si había algun lugar en particular en el que le gustaría que hiciesemos la sesión enseguida me habló de un rincón remoto en el Montseny donde siendo un crio solía ir a bañarse cada verano.. asi que alli nos fuimos con un banjo y unas cervezas, a repetir la foto unas cuantas décadas después, rodeados de mosquitos y los 35 grados de rigor de finales de Julio.
Pasaros por mi web para verle protagonizar la tercera entrega de la serie PEOPLE WITH GUTS AND SOUL, esta vez con banda sonora de bluegrass. Aqui va.

Xavi Ollé is a phenomenon. He is an excepcional sound engineer and a genuine man who if hadn't been born at the baix LLobregat would definitely have come into the world in Nashville (ask his band mates at 'The Booty Hunters' and they'll tell you)
When i asked him if there would be any particular place he would like to pick up for the shooting he immediately mentioned this remote spot at the Montseny where he used to go swimming during the summers when he was a little kid.. so there we went with a banjo and a bunch of beers to recreate the picture a few decades later, surrounded by an army of mosquitos and the usual 35 degrees of a late July day.

Luis Lecumberry es uno de esos tipos que no tienen por costumbre ir besando culos ni formando parte del rebaño. Ser humano inconformista, fumador de puros, aficionado taurino convencido, periodista, fotógrafo musical de calidad indiscutible, 'bon vivant', pero sobre todo.. genio y figura.
Protagoniza la segunda imagen de PEOPLE WITH GUTS AND SOUL, y nos cuenta de su puño y letra cómo ve la vida y a si mismo. Alto y bien clarito.

Luis Lecumberry is the kind of folk who doesn't really go with the mainstream or consider ass-kissing as an option. A non-comformist human being, cigar smoker, convinced bullfighting fan, journalist, music photographer extraordinaire, 'bon vivant', but over all.. a one of a kind persona.

People with Guts and Soul #1 Aleix Gordo Hostau
Aloha señores (y señoras), esta es la primera foto de PEOPLE WITH GUTS AND SOUL, una serie en la que estoy trabajando y que a algunos os sonará porque ya os habré intentado comer el tarro para que participeis en el proyecto. Si ese es el caso, SI, os lo podeis tomar como un cumplido.. aunque el afortunado esta vez es Aleix Gordo Hostau, artista visual, mente inquieta y co-fundador de Goho Estudio, estudio de arte multidisciplinar con base en Barcelona.

Aloha ladies and gents, this is the first shot of PEOPLE WITH GUTS AND SOUL, a series i'm working into. It might sound familiar to you cause maybe i already tried to drag you into the project.. did i? Well if thats the case.. YEAH, you can take it as a compliment. However, this time the lucky one is Aleix Gordo Hostau, visual artist, inquisitive mind and co-founder of Goho Estudio, a multidisciplined art studio based in Barcelona.
